November Reading: I'm ready to FALL into a good book!

November is here, and I always feel like I'm in this weird limbo between Halloween and Christmas during this month. I love Thanksgiving (and TURKEY), and I love decorating with pumpkins...but I'm also itching to pull out the Christmas decorations! In unrelated news, I did put up two Christmas trees last week: one (albeit small at 4.5 feet) in my bedroom, and one (larger) in my reading room. I probably (okay, likely) won't be unpacked enough to have a tree downstairs this year, so for now, I'm decorating the upstairs with gusto!

I want to read a lot this month, so you know November is like any other month! :) In all seriousness, I have several arcs I want to knock out to get my Net Galley number up plus some books from my TBR that are calling my name!

First off, I am being mucho ambitious this month by participating in both a buddy read and a read along! I'm reading When We Left Cuba by Chanel Cleeton with a bookstagram friend, and I'm reading Once Upon A Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber with a read-a-long group. I hope I finish them both! I am really looking forward to my second Chanel Cleeton book, so I hope it lives up to all the hype. As for the Stephanie Garber book...I'm just plain excited to finally dive into one of her stories! I've loosely committed to a Little Women read-a-long that is pretty casual and longish, so I hope I can keep up with it!

I'm also planning to read two more books from the Kerri Maniscalco list: Hunting Prince Dracula and Kingdom of the Wicked. Both of these books come highly recommended, and I'm looking forward to them. I had hoped to read KOTW last month, but it just didn't happen for me...so I'm prioritizing it this month. Additionally, I hope to get to the new Jennifer Armentrout book, A Shadow in the Ember. My copy arrived damaged from B&N, but I'm waiting on a new (hopefully undamaged) copy to arrive this week. I love the From Blood and Ash series, so I'm hoping I love this one too.

I'm also continuing my love affair with the ETL Echo audio app, and I will be listening to a few fan fictions I have teed up on it this month as well. First off is the prequel to Wait and Hope, Beginning and End. I think I will like it, but we will see!

I'm really looking forward to these reads this month! Let me know if we're reading anything that's the same!
