ABOUT ME

Hello everyone!  I have been a bibliophile for years, but I finally decided to DO SOMETHING about it in 2020!  The result is this blog.  I chose the name Chasing Mr. Darcy not because I am using the blog to seek love (although, that would be a nice side effect lol!), but because I love finding strong, interesting, and ultimately, human characters in what I read.  Good books give us an interesting story, but great books give us family, friends, and loves as tangible as flesh and bone.  I love to read, and as a child, I never went anywhere without a book.  Not much has changed over the years, and I am so excited to share some thoughts on the book industry, reading trends, and book reviews with you.  I hope to help others find a love for reading through my blog.  I hope you'll follow along on the blog and on my instagram:  @chasingmrdarcy .
